OPEC maintains its crude oil output unchanged

the 162nd oil ministers' meeting of the organization of Petroleum Exporting Countries (OPEC) held in Vienna decided on the 12th to continue to maintain the daily output of 30million barrels of crude oil. This oil production scale is equivalent to about one-third of the total global crude oil consumption next year

OPEC issued a communiqu é after the meeting, saying: "against the backdrop of the still fragile economy of the eurozone, there is great uncertainty in the prospects for international economic development, which has also become the biggest challenge facing the global oil market in 2013." Although the world crude oil demand is expected to increase slightly in 2013, it is expected that the international market demand for OPEC crude oil will average 29.7 million barrels per day in 2013 due to the increase in the supply of non OPEC oil producing countries. However, considering the "uncertainty of international oil demand, the OPEC meeting decided to continue to maintain the current crude oil production of 30million barrels per day". This move is aimed at avoiding the rise of international oil prices and creating a good environment for international economic recovery

According to the communique, OPEC will continue to pay close attention to the changes in the supply-demand relationship in the international crude oil market and take timely measures to ensure that copper powder, as an important area in the copper deep processing chain, is used for sensor force measurement to strive for a balanced and reasonable oil price level

in addition, OPEC Secretary General Badri explained at the press conference on the same day that although the economies of China, the United States and some developing countries will grow, the economic situation of many countries, including EU countries, will remain difficult. "The world economic situation is still poor", especially the financial crisis in the euro zone and the fiscal policy of the United States, will have a significant impact on the development of the international crude oil market

an investment of 200million yuan on that day, the OPEC oil ministers' meeting decided to extend Badri's term of office for another year, and the next OPEC oil ministers' meeting will be held on May 31, 2013
